wooden floors - An Advisory
-
Whether you buy wooden flooring from us or not you should consider where & how the wooden flooring fits with doors and skirting.
Wooden flooring has been a popular cost effective choice for homes, cabins, businesses, summer houses, schools, and public buildings as wooden floors can last for decades. But one of the challenges is matching wooden floors with the skirting or door. But as we use only the best wood sourced from our purpose built mill we can create a uniformity of style enabling you to match all your wooden flooring, doors and architraves in one place and from the same source.

What kind of maintenance do wooden floors need and what finishes do they wooden floors need?
Engineered wooden flooring is machined and also is available with a pre-finished option, which means that it's already filled, sanded and sealed. As soon as the floor has been laid, you can walk on it. By contrast, unfinished wooden flooring must be sealed, and requires waiting time before use. An advantage of engineered wooden flooring versus laminate is that engineered or custom made wooden floors can be sanded after scratches and dings develop. Easily cleaned with a soapy cleaner.
