Structural Timbers
Our company is renowned for being one of the South West's leading suppliers of construction-grade green oak. The selection of high grade structural timbers needs understanding and experience and members of the team here are certificated to visually strength-grade hardwood to BS5756 and softwood to BS4978 to meet the latest building regulations.
We can source sawn beams in either English or European timber, in any dimension achievable from the log. We work predominantly with Oak, however other species are available.
As timber specialists, we can use our experience to "lift off" architects drawings to produce trusses, purlins and ridge timbers, from the sawn timber through to delivered truss. We will guide you through your project reading from the architect's drawings and providing guidance on stress grading and design. Our fabrication service is offered through an experienced and skilled partner company, who will then erect on site.
