Our own well-known traditional English oak solid wood floors are manufactured here on site, as they always have been, and you can complete your project by choosing from any of our (standard or bespoke) solid English or European oak ledged and braced doors, door kits, door linings, skirting, architrave and a multitude of other products from staircases to latches. Just ask – if we can make it, we will!
It has been a real pleasure recently to complete our flooring range with the finest, natural wood, engineered flooring available. Hakwood’s Duoplank, with its comprehensive range of species, allows beautiful wooden floors to be laid in situations where a simple, solid floor would have suffered. We can offer an outstanding selection of finishing oils for your wood from Osmo, Treatex and Blanchon, and beautiful handmade door and window furniture from Anvil, Karcher and Kirkpatrick.
And what next? As always, we continue to supply air-dried, kiln-dried or green oak for framing and construction with any necessary grading certificates. Now, after some successful projects, we can offer an exciting ‘Conception to Construction’ package which can take you from architectural design and drawings right through to fabrication and erection, in partnership with Jackson Architects, Graham Edwards and The Bucknall Partnership.
